Magnus Jones is presently serving as the Blockchain & Innovation Lead for Nordic regions at EY Tax & Law. His field of work focuses more on collaboration with key stakeholders, including academia, authorities, and banks. Magnus has helped clients accomplish diverse objectives ranging from technical implementations to the resolution of regulatory and compliance challenges. He has earned comprehensive practical experience in DeFi, DAOs, and NFTs through involvement in projects of some of the largest brands. Magnus has supported many successful startups in the emerging decentralized web landscape. He helped the Norwegian Tax Authorities with the development of the first-of-its-kind guidelines on taxation in NFTs and DeFi. He is a fluent international speaker with comprehensive expertise in digital technology and trends, focused on different areas. Magnus finds broader platforms for expressing his views through multiple roles. He is the co-founder and board member of the Oslo Blockchain Cluster and the Head of the Oslo Chapter of Disruption Disciples. Magnus also offers his insights as a lecturer for the EMBA classes at BI Norwegian Business School as well as the University of Oslo. He is one of the founders of the Norwegian Computer Society Group for Blockchain. In addition, Magnus Jones also serves as an advisor to the United Nations working group for dealing with crypto technologies and counter-terrorism.
